Central Teacher Eligibility Test Syllabus 2019: Central Teacher Eligibility Test known as CTET is an Indian entrance examination for teachers. The test is mandatory for getting teaching jobs in government schools from Class 1 to Class 8. CBSE conducts CTET twice in a year for determining the eligibility of candidates, with a degree or diploma in Education, for teaching jobs in schools, under the administrative control of the Centre, State, or Union Territories. CTET 2019 Exam Pattern
CTET Pattern consists of 2 papers- Paper 1(Primary Stage) and Paper 2(Elementary Stage) –
- Paper 1 is for candidates who intend to become a teacher for classes 1 to 5.
- Paper 2 of is for candidates who wish to teach students from classes 6 to 8.
- Every correct answer has +1 mark while negative marking scheme will not be applicable for the exam. Candidates can refer to the below table for CTET Exam Pattern highlights:

CBSE conducts CTET 2018 Paper 2 for individuals seeking employment in the Elementary classes of schools. It will consist of 4 compulsory sections.
