Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is an autonomous body which conducts IBPS Clerk Exam, a common written exam or CWE, every year to recruit candidates for clerical cadre in multiple banks all over the country. All the banks except SBI under public sector use CWE as the selection criteria to fill all the vacancies of clerical posts.
