ICMR Assistant Recruitment Eligibility Criteria
All the applicants who wish to apply to different programs at Dibrugarh University must fulfill the following eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria are different for each program. Applicants are suggested to check eligibility criteria, before applying for the course. By referring to the exam pattern will help you in preparation where you can prepare according to the subject wise and marks.
Educational Qualifications
For scientist post
The candidate must possess a BDS and MDS regular degree recognized by the DCI or another equivalent degree is enough. The applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a government or public or private institution. Applicants should have an age limit of a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 45 years.
For assistant post
The applying candidate should have a minimum of 03 years Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline. The candidate should also have the working Knowledge of Computer. Applicants should have an age limit of a minimum of 25 years and a maximum of 45 years.
Selection process
The skillful candidates will be hired based on two screening processes. The selecting process involved two steps,
- Written exam
- Personal interview
The candidates who are securing good marks with the cut off marks will be invited to attend the interview. Then the one who passes the interview will be hired for the post.

Admit card
Admit card is an important factor for attending the exam. Without the admit card the candidates are not allowed to attend the exam. The candidates have to download the admit card from the official website.
The admit card will be available 10 days before the exam. The candidates who submitted the application form before the end date are eligible for getting the admit card.

After downloading the Admit Card candidates should take the print out of it for future reference. Candidates can download their admit card through steps given below. Cut Off Marks
This Cut Off mark is the minimum qualifying marks for the candidate to pass the exam, the candidate must have to score more than the given cut off marks. The cut-off list will be prepared for General/OBC/SC/ST categories. These cut off marks will be determined by considering various factors. Minimum Cutoff marks for the various vacancies will be determined by the authority based on the factors like,
- Total number of Vacancies,
- Paper difficulty level,
- Previous year Cutoff,
- Reservation
- Several candidates participated in the examination.
The cutoff marks will be distributed along with the Assam Power Distribution Company Limited result.
Merit list 2021
The candidates with good marks will be called for further selection, and they will do the document verification as a final selection process. The candidates can know whether they are selected for the post by downloading the merit list.
This final merit list is released when all the selection process gets completed. The candidates who have cleared all the selection process to make it to the final merit list will be considered for the post.
