In order to apply for UP TGT PGT 2019, candidates will have to fulfill certain eligibility conditions. Furthermore, candidates should meet with any one of the following eligibility criteria:
Educational Qualification | For Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT): Applicants must have Bachelor Degree or Graduation in relevant discipline and B.Ed., BTC (D.El.Ed.) or any other Training Certificates from any recognized University/Institute. For Post Graduate Teacher (PGT): Candidates must have Master Degree or Post Graduation in relevant discipline from recognized University. |
Age Limit | Minimum & Maximum age limit is 21 to 40 Years. |
Age Relaxation for UPSESSB Recruitment :
- For SC / ST Candidates: 5 Years.
- For OBC Candidates: 3 Years.

In this UPSESSB Recruitment Process, the selection of Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) Post & Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in UP Government Schools will be based on Written Test, Personal Interview and Documents Verification.

Steps to Apply Online For UPSESSB TGT PGT Examination
| Step 1 – First of all, login to the official website of UPSESSB i.e. www.upsessb.org. |
| Step 2 – Now click on “Candidate Registration” option to accomplish Part-I of form submission. Candidate Basic Registration form: Here the system asks for the Candidate’s Personal Information. |
| Step 3 – After entering verification code, click on “Submit” button at bottom of the page, the second page that will display your Registration Slip where you can find 11 digit registration number with detail that you can also take printout for future reference. |
| Step 4 – Also, the candidates are supposed to fill in the Payment Details while filling up Part-II of the Online Application Submission. |
| Step 5 – So, after Completion of PART-I Registration, on next working day after 2:00 PM you have to go through via “Fee Deposition” and choose the option for payment Fee by E-Challan/I-Collect (SBI). |
| Step 6 – Click on “Submit Application Form” would take you to the Part-II of the online application. |
| Step 7 – So, now to complete online application submission, you just click on “Submit Application Form” in Candidate Segment Page. |
| Step 8 – Clicking on “Submit Application Form” button it will opens-up a page and ask for Candidate Registration Number, Fee details, Scanned photograph with signature and some of your personal details that you filled during the registration process. And click on submit button & you will be moved on next page where you can fill all information to complete form submission. |
| Step 9 – Here the candidate is required to upload the images of recent (within three months) Color Photograph. |
| Step 10 – Finally, Download your application form and save it for future need. |
