Eligibility Criteria for Uttar Pradesh Assistant Professor Recruitment 2021
Before applying for the post of assistant professor, the candidates have to check the education qualifications and age limit allowed for applying for the recruitment.
Education Qualification
If the candidates want to apply for the UPHESC Assistant Professor recruitment, the candidates must possess a Master’s Degree, PhD.
Age Limit
Candidates’ age limit should not be more than 62 years as on 01 July 2020.
Pay Scale
The candidates who will be selected as UPHESC Assistant Professor will have a pay scale of Rs.15600-39100+6000.
Application Fee
The candidates have to pay the application fees for applying to the Assistant Professor Post. The application fees vary depending on the category of the candidates. Here as follows.

- OBC: Rs.2000/-
- SC: Rs.1000/-

Selection Process of Uttar Pradesh HESC Assistant Professor
The candidates have to face three stages of the selection process. If they fail in any one of the selection processes, they will be eliminated from the further screening process. The selection process includes,
- Written Exam
- Personal Interview
- Document Verification
If the candidate scores the required Cut Off marks, they will be called for the personal interview and then document verification.
Uttar Pradesh Assistant Professor Recruitment Exam Pattern 2021
This is the first stage of the screening process. The exam pattern includes,
- 30 questions will be asked for 60 marks in General Paper.
- 70 questions will be asked for 140 marks in Subjective Paper (Except Commerce).
- 50 questions will be asked for Commerce of subject related.
- Total marks are for 230 marks (including interview marks)
Note that there were negative marks for wrong answers.
UPHESC Assistant Professor Exam and Admit card
Uttar Pradesh Higher Education Services Commission will update all the information on the official website soon. The admit card will be available 10-15 days before the exam. UPHESC Assistant Professor Cut Off Marks
If they conducted the exam and relaxed the results, they will shortly release the cutoff marks. These Cut Off marks are the minimum qualifying marks for the candidate, to get qualified for the next selection process. If the candidates fail to get the minimum qualification mark, he/she will be eliminated from the further selection process. The Cut off marks for the various posts as per the category has been released along with the result.
