Eligibility Criteria 2021

All eligible candidates should satisfy the eligibility criteria before applying for the desired job. Candidates will be only selected if they fulfill the criteria and their performance in the Oriental Insurance AO Exam 2021.

Educational Qualification

Students should have 10th / B.Tech / Graduation / Post Graduation or equivalent degree pass out for individual course / posts and degree must be approved by a recognized central / state board.

Age Limit

The applicant should have a minimum age of 18 years and a maximum age limit of 40 years.

Age relaxation will be applicable according to the government norms.

Application Fee

All the candidates with eligible educational qualification and age limit can apply for this post. The candidate has to pay the application fee. It is different for different categories.

  • General Category: Rs. 350.
  • Other States Candidates: Rs. 350.
  • SC, ST, BC Category: Rs. 150.
  • PH & Ex-Servicemen: Rs. 150.

Selection Process

The candidates will be selected based on the two selection processes. The candidate has to pass the exam with the minimum qualification marks to qualify for the next selection process.

If the candidate fails to get the minimum qualifying marks they will be eliminated from the further selection process.

Admit Card 2021 

Admit card is an important factor for attending the exam. Without the admit card the candidates are not allowed to attend the exam. The candidates have to download the admit card from the official website.

Cut Off Marks 

This Cut Off mark is the minimum qualifying marks for the candidate to pass the exam, the candidate must have to score more than the given cut off marks. The cut-off list will be prepared for General/OBC/SC/ST categories. These cut off marks will be determined by considering various factors. Minimum Cutoff marks for the various vacancies will be determined by the authority based on the factors like,

  • Total number of Vacancies,
  • Paper difficulty level,
  • Previous year Cutoff,
  • Reservation

The cutoff marks will be distributed along with the Exam Results. 

Merit list 2021

The candidates with good marks will be called for further selection, and they will do the document verification as a final selection process. The candidates can know whether they are selected for the post by downloading the merit list.

This final merit list is released when all the selection process gets completed. The candidates who have cleared all the selection process to make it to the final merit list will be considered for the post.
