Eligibility Criteria for Punjab Education Master Cadre Vacancy

Educational Qualification
The candidate must satisfy the perfect education qualifications to meet the eligibility criteria of the post. Educational qualification for the Maths vacancy: 30 posts
The applicant must have completed their graduation with suitable segregation marks. The segregate percentage mark is different for different categories.

- In the case of SC/ST/OBC/BC/PWD: 40% marks.
The candidate should have completed the graduation from a recognized university or institution and should have passed Mathematics as an elective subject for three years of Graduation. OR the applicant also be a B.Ed graduate from a recognized university or institution with Hindi as one of the teaching subjects as per guidelines of University Grants Commission.
Educational qualification for the English vacancy: 20 posts
The applicant must have completed their graduation with suitable segregation marks. The segregate percentage mark is different for different categories.
- In the case of General Category: 45% marks.
- In the case of SC/ST/OBC/BC/PWD: 40% marks.
The candidate should have completed the graduation from a recognized university or institution and should have passed English as an elective subject for three years of Graduation. OR the applicant should have studied Functional English, English Literature, B.A. Honours (English), B.A. (Honours) English in Graduation; or its equivalent; or Should have passed Post Graduation in English; and B.Ed from a recognized university or institution with Hindi as one of the teaching subjects as per guidelines of University Grants Commission.
Educational qualification for the Science vacancy: 40 posts
Non Medical
The applicant must have completed their B.Ed graduation with suitable segregation marks. The segregate percentage mark is different for different categories.
- In the case of General Category: 45% marks.
- In the case of SC/ST/OBC/BC/PWD: 40% marks.
The candidate should have completed the graduation from a recognized university or institution with any of the two subjects of Physics Chemistry and Mathematics.
Otherwise, they should have passed B.Sc. in Physics and Mathematics or any other equivalent qualification, but a certificate of equivalency should be given by the concerned University as per guidelines of the University Grants Commission.
Medical
Segregate marks are same as above and the applicant must passed from a recognized university or institution with any of the two subjects i.e. Biology, Physics and Chemistry or B.Sc. Honours) in either of these subjects or B.Sc degree of any specialization, but certificate of equivalency should be given by the concerned University as per guidelines of the University Grants Commission.
Age Limit
Age limit of the applicant should be between 18 to 47 years.
