Eligibility Criteria for WBSEDCL JOT Recruitment 2021

The candidates should have certain qualifications to get selected for the position.

Educational Qualification for WBSEDCL Vacancy 2021: The contenders should have passed B.E/ B.TECH/ B.Sc. degree courses from any recognized board or university.

Office Executive Post

Those candidates who are going to apply for this Office Executive post should be a graduate in any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University or Graduation in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in HS Level.

Junior Operator Technician

Those candidates who are going to apply for this Junior Operator Technician post should have Madhyamik pass certificate and Trade Certificate under NCVT from any ITI under Directorate of Industrial Training, Govt of West Bengal in Electronic- Mechanic/ Wireman/ Electrician.

Age Limit

The applicant may avail of an upper age limit upto 45 years to participate in the selection process.

Age relaxation will be applicable according to the government norms.

Application Fee

Those candidates who are interested in this post have to pay the application fees. The candidates who are belonging to UR/OBC-A/OBC-B categories have to submit an application fee in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of ‘WBSEDCL’ and payable at Kolkata amounting to Rs 300/-.

Salary/ pay Scale

Those who pass all the selection process would be selected and paid over Rs 6,300 to 20,200/- per month and Grade pay Rs 3,600/-.

Selection Process

The candidates will be selected based on the two selection processes. The candidate has to pass the exam with the minimum qualification marks to qualify for the next selection process.

• Written Test
• Interview

If the candidate fails to get the minimum qualifying marks they will be eliminated from the further selection process.

Admit card 

Admit cards are an important factor for attending the exam. Without the admit card the candidates are not allowed to attend the exam. The candidates have to download the admit card from the official website.

The admit card will be available 10 days before the exam. The candidates who submitted the application form before the end date are eligible for getting the admit card. The admit card was not released yet. However, we will update this page if the admit card is available on the official website.

Cut Off Marks 

This Cut Off mark is the minimum qualifying marks for the candidate to pass the exam, the candidate must have to score more than the given cut off marks. The cut-off list will be prepared for General/OBC/SC/ST categories. These cut off marks will be determined by considering various factors. Minimum Cutoff marks for the various vacancies will be determined by the authority based on the factors like,

• Total number of Vacancies,
• Paper difficulty level,
• Previous year Cutoff,
• Reservation
• Several candidates participated in the examination.

The cutoff marks will be distributed along with the Exam Results. 

Merit list 2021

The candidates with good marks will be called for further selection, and they will do the document verification as a final selection process. The candidates can know whether they are selected for the post by downloading the merit list.

This final merit list is released when all the selection process gets completed. The candidates who have cleared all the selection process to make it to the final merit list will be considered for the post.
